Conceptronic CRU v2 I got the windows driver installer installed, but it was looking for a inf file and the driver I have on the cd is an executable file for an installer, so it wouldn't work. I read so many fixes and have probably put so many codes in the other one that it's probably as lost as I am. PS - What kinda geek is sitting around on Friday night compiling a tarball? I thougt that were compatible, so that's the reason i was trying that driver.
I made teh uninstall part that you told me in your last post and the followed the thread instructions, and it worked.

I read this thread and another one http: The rtsta kernel module is automatically loaded for supported devices. Thanks for being patient and persistent. That tells the driver to drive the hardware.

In your case, since you are running an older kernel version, your usb. The cd also has a linux driver, but I do not know how to use terminal to install it.
